Cookie policy
Last updated 17 October 2026. Glidebomb does not set any cookies — not ours and not anyone else's. Instead, a few small notes are saved in your browser's storage. This page lists every one of them, so you can see exactly what the site keeps on your device.
No trackers, no advertising
There are no analytics tools, no advertising networks, no social media widgets, no tracking pixels and no external fonts or scripts on glidebomb.com. Nothing we store is used to follow you across other websites.
What is stored in your browser
| Key | Type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
glb.age | Essential | Remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or over, so the question is not asked on every page. | Until you clear site data |
glb.consent | Essential | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional preferences. | Until you clear site data |
glb.crew | Essential | The list of accounts registered in this browser, with salted password and recovery-key hashes. | Until you delete the account |
glb.pilot.<id> | Essential | One account's data: Glide Coins, levels, wings, altitude, flight plans, saved games, round history and any break. | Until you delete the account |
glb.session | Essential | Which account is logged in. Kept in session storage, or local storage if you tick "keep me logged in". | Until you log out |
glb.lock | Essential | Slows down repeated failed log-in attempts in this browser. | Up to 15 minutes |
glb.prefs | Preference (optional) | Sound on or off and your lobby layout. Only saved if you accept preferences. | Until you clear site data |
Guests in demo mode only ever get the age and consent notes: demo credits live in the open page and vanish when you leave.
Your choices
Essential storage is needed for the age check and for accounts to work, so it is used without asking, as UK law allows for strictly necessary storage. Preference storage is optional: accept or reject it in the banner, and change your mind at any time.
You can also remove everything by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. That deletes any account stored here, so download your data from your logbook first if you want a copy.
