How our games work

Every Glidebomb game is designed and built by our own small studio. This page explains how a result is decided, what the animations do and do not mean, and how to read the tables printed under every game.

Where results come from

Results are drawn by the Web Crypto random number generator built into your browser — the same source browsers use to create encryption keys. When you tap Spin, Drop, Deal, Roll or Draw, the game asks for random numbers, decides the full result immediately, and only then starts the animation.

Because the result is already fixed, nothing you do during the animation changes it, and the animation never changes its pace to build suspense. A reel does not slow down because bonus symbols are showing, and no game ever says you came close.

Reading the tables

Every game page has a table called "What each result returns". It lists each outcome and the multiple of your stake it returns, in Glide Coins. On reel games, line multiples apply to the line stake, which is your stake divided by the number of lines. The tables are complete: there are no hidden outcomes and no extra features outside what is printed.

Gentle, Steady and Stormy

Each game carries a temperament. Gentle games return small amounts often, so a purse changes slowly. Stormy games go quiet for longer and return more when they land, so a purse swings further in both directions. Steady games sit between the two. Over a long run of rounds every game hands back most of what is staked, but in any single session anything can happen — that is the nature of random play.

Why none of this involves money

Glide Coins have no cash value, cannot be bought and cannot be exchanged for anything. Our games are for entertainment only and are not gambling in law. Playing or success at social casino games does not imply future success at real-money gambling, where the odds and the consequences are very different.

Spotted something odd?

If a game behaves in a way the table does not explain, tell us with the game name and roughly when it happened. Your logbook's round history can help you find the round.
